How to Feel 20 Years Younger

Jeep Wrangler + top down + remove doors + sunglasses + Van Halen + max volume + get lotsa looks…. and pretend your sunglasses aren’t bi-focals.

Cindy loves Jeeping too and always looks 20 years younger, with or without the Jeep.

R.I.P. Eli and Kallie.

I always find myself looking out to see them on the deck,

…but they’re not there.

Like children on Christmas morning,
going for a walk, to the park, for a run, to be fed… or,
any time we dared venture into their private little world in the backyard to play
was to them the worlds greatest holiday.
The backyard seemed like the land of milk and honey,
but now it seems like the land of desolation.

I still catch myself looking out to see them on the deck,

…but they’re never there.

It’s an Electric Train Christmas…Finally!!

With Michael in Italy and the other tattletale kids moved out, I was *finally* able to get out Michael’s electric trains for Christmas to play with.

My favorite car is the self propelled Christmas trolley car with the people in the windows. I have to get special permits from the EPA to run the tanker car with liquid chlorine. Keeping the trains running on time takes a lot of work.

Deep Fried Turkey Thanksgiving

There’s got to be a less messy way to cook a turkey, but the taste and moisture is fantastic.

Dinner was followed by a ginger bread house cook off.
